Refund Policy
At AEG Ventures, L.L.C., we are committed to providing safe, dependable, and professional Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) services. We understand that unexpected changes may occur, and this policy outlines how cancellations and refunds are handled.
1. Cancellation Policy
Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled pickup time. Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled pickup will incur a $25 cancellation fee.
2. Driver En Route / Late Cancellation
If a trip is canceled after the driver has been dispatched or is en route, the client will be charged the full base fare and mileage of the trip.
3. No-Show Policy
A no-show is defined as the client not being present at the scheduled pickup location and the driver has waited a minimum of 15 minutes past the scheduled pickup time. No-shows will be charged the full base fare.
4. Grace Period
A 15-minute grace period is provided for all pickups. After the grace period, the trip may be marked as a no-show and subject to applicable fees.
5. Recurring or Standing Appointments
Clients with recurring trips must provide at least 24 hours notice to cancel or modify a scheduled ride. Repeated late cancellations or no-shows may result in service suspension or requirement of prepayment.
6. Emergency Exceptions
Fees may be waived in the event of medical emergencies, hospital admissions, or severe weather, at management’s discretion.
7. Payment Responsibility
The client or responsible party is liable for all cancellation and no-show fees. Outstanding balances may result in denial of future services until resolved.
8. Massachusetts & Rhode Island Compliance
AEG Ventures, LLC operates in compliance with all applicable Massachusetts and Rhode Island Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) regulations, including but not limited to Medicaid guidelines, broker requirements, and state-specific transportation standards. This policy may be updated to remain in compliance with state and federal regulations.
